Graduation!
I'm currently finishing up my finals, and then I will be finished at the Academy of Art. It's been four years, and I feel like I finally know who I am and what I would like to do in the future for a career. I am completely stunned and proud of myself for over-loading this semester and still "surviving". This was wonderful practice for the real world when I will be working non-stop even more! :)

5 classes and 50 hrs/wk at work
Roughly, ever since this past September, I have not only been going to school full time with an additional class, but I have been working at my job as a Cafe Supervisor for around 50 hours a week every week. Currently, I have only one C, and the rest are As and Bs; I have no idea how I'm doing this, but I figure it's my last semester here at AAU, and I'm going to go out with a bang! Also, it's great practice for the real world; at least doing it while I'm in school, I'm safe. However, I MUST get that C up to a B by the end of the semester... Wish me luck! There's only five more weeks left of the semester!! :)

Associate Producer for two Production classes at AAU
Last week, I was named the Associate Producer for all of the projects in the Texture and Lighting and Compositing for Production classes. My duties include taking "bullet-point" notes on all of those projects taking place, and making sure that they are on schedule. I'm really excited because I am able to see more films and their journeys. I feel like I am more in the pipeline now by noting how many artists are on what shots, the project's priority, their deadlines, and making sure everything is going smoothly. Another wonderful part of having this title is that I can communicate to all of the Producers of the shows, and learn about how to solve time-management problems. The only downside to all of this is that this is my last semester at Academy of Art University, but the upside is that I'm feeling more comfortable in my element of Producing.

It is only the beginning of the third week at AAU, and I'm already busier than a beaver! Working full time as Cafe Supervisor and taking five classes (full time plus one extra class), and helping on two projects...This is going to be a long semester! I need to manage my time a little differently this time. Wish me luck!
